In 1964, Gary's parents, Bob and Julie moved from
Buffalo New York and established Buffalo Bill's Catering
Services. As the area grew so
did the business. They started as a coffee shop on Venice Ave and by
the late 60's catering was the mainstay. In 1982, when Gary and Lucy
were just newlyweds, they bought the business. Since then they have
made it their mission to produce successful parties for their
community. Even their 15 year old daughter Magen is part of the
team. She makes the homemade cookies from scratch, with the family's
time tested recipes, no additives.
(Read recent
article featuring Magen). Buffalo Bill's Catering Services and White Roses Banquets and Catering are located inside the commercial kitchen of the Venice-Nokomis Elk's Lodge. They are running the restaurant out there as well as catering banquets in the Elk's beautiful new hall and the kitchen is large enough for the off-site catering as well. |
